Welcome to my studio. I am located at Seaford and Carrum studios and outdoor locations in Victoria, Australia.

I have been teaching yoga for 9 years now and have studied many forms and places and types of yoga around the world. 

Yoga itself is a very broad term meaning unity of the mind and the spirit. This means different things to everyone. However when you dig deeper into the origins of yoga and discover the authentic yoga as it is in its original forms from the Agamas there is a well spring of unending knowledge to be found. This is what I found with Nithyananda Yoga. First of all I trained in Body Balance which is a very simple version of yoga, pilates and tai chi set to music. Then I trained in Kunadilini Yoga and learned many of the ancient Pranayama or breathing techniques.

 

My first training in Hatha, and Iengar Yoga was at Shiva Yoga Peeth in Rishikesh, India which was a wonderful grounding in the asanas (poses) kriyas (cleaning the body), alignment, philisophy of yoga and meditation and Aryuvedic science.

 

In 2017 I did a program at the Nithyananda Ashram in Bidadi, India called "Inner Awakening" and it did just that! I was shaken to the core and my very belief about myself was to be examined for the truth. The truth can be swallowed up and absorbed in our fears, our complacency and our simple comforts of life and can be completely lost in the media and lifestyle choices we are bombarded with every day.

In April 2018 I studied once again at the Nithyananda Ashram with Swamiji Nithyananda and became a qualified Nithyananda Yoga teacher.

In 2019 I gained my Tai Chi teaching certificate with Rising Moon Tai Chi teacher Jenny Harrison. Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Shibashi exercises are wonderful for energy and relaxation particularly for the elderly but anyone can benefit from the martial art applications.

 

In 2020 I  studied again Hatha and Ashatanga Yoga 200hrs with the Yoga School of India. Samir Rane guided us to greater depths of self practise and my teaching methods have evolved along with this development.

In August of 2020 I was introduced to Matias De Stefano and Yosoy Meditations and I have been following the amazing 365 day program of talks, alignments and meditations.
